Renaissance Week 5: The Mid-Point
Something strange happens when you get to half. If it’s football, then it’s half-time, which means you take a break and eat a hot dog you’ll regret later. If it’s life, it’s called MID-LIFE, which is too often followed by CRISIS which means you look back over your life and think, holy hell, but I’m not even half-way through with my Life List!
But when it’s your own renaissance, you’re not going to take a break, or panic. Whatever has been done is done. Whatever we still have to do, by golly,

The Box: A short story by Malena Lott
Marcy sat stoically at the granite breakfast bar, gingerly rubbing the top of the white linen jewelry box. She had thrown a sweatshirt over her pajamas and slipped on her mink, an odd combination that didn’t strike her as such until she was in the company of her husband, who was, as always, impeccably dressed.

Renaissance Week 3: ACTION!
This is a big week. With a new president and new energy, we should all feel a little more inspired to make changes in our own lives. By now we’ve reflected on who we want to be, made a plan, researched how we can make it happen with some great resources, and now...it’s time to take action. Hopefully you’ve already started checking things off of your list. If not, then consider this your timer buzzing you to get it done.
What if you’ve started trying but things keep getting in the way?

Your Renaissance: Week 2 MOJO!
Congrats to you if you managed to review your life and carve out a precious niche in time to write down your SMART goals in your journal! Figured out who you want to be yet? I know. Sometimes it’s easier to figure out what you don’t want out of life than what you do, but remember you can always add and subtract as we go along.
I shared some of my SMART goals on the Dating da Vinci page on Facebook on the discussion loop, so I’d love for you to join the conversation over there each week.
