Walton Forward Project
 
 
Walton Forward, formerly the Monroe Arts and History Alliance, was formed by a group of citizens in Monroe, Georgia. Walton Forward  has charged itself with preserving the historic structures on an abandoned school site and reusing the property, structures and grounds, with the first and foremost ideal being service to the public.
 
Walton Forward is committed to working with existing organizations: non-profit organizations, government organizations, including schools, individuals and businesses to find the best possible use that will serve the greatest number of people in the county while preserving the history of Walton County which exists in the parts and people of  Monroe, Loganville, Between, Gratis, Good Hope, Split Silk, Walnut Grove and other communities.
