These instructions are for anyone who doesn't have an ipod but wishes to use itunes to create a file that will work on any MP3 player (our podcast will work with all Apple ipods without having to do this).

1. Open itunes

2. Choose the drop down menu 'Edit' and select 'Preferences'

Select the Advanced tab then under that, select the 'Importing' tab. Here you can select the importing file format that itunes will use. Set it to MP3.

3. Right click our podcast and select 'Convert Selection to MP3'

Your computer will show the progress in the info bar at the top of itunes. It'll take a minute or so to convert the file.

4. Right click the new podcast file and select 'Show Song File'

Your computer will show the file and you can copy this onto any MP3 capable player. Make sure you use the file with the MP3 extension.
