Hello.

Yes, I’m a “soccer mom,” but wait!  I’m not your average “cart-your-kid-to-soccer-games-but-know-nothing-about-the-sport-so-I-only-like-to-watch-my-kid-play-but-didn’t-know-that-there-was-actually-major-league-professional-soccer” mom.  No, I am both the parent of an 11-year-old soccer player AND am a “fútbol” fanatic.   Oh, and my daughter is as fanatical about “fútbol” as I am.  The two of us will sit at the computer and read soccer statistics, even . . . scary!

Our team is FC Dallas (Go Hoops!!).  We are recent fans -- we started going to games in 2006.  In 2007, we got half-season tickets and succumbed to “soccer madness,”  especially after we learned, last summer, that you can go watch the guys practice. Cool! 

For 2008, we have FULL season tickets . . . YEA!!!

We love this team, love the heart they usually show when playing, and love both our home-grown American players and our international ones.  Kenny Cooper is my daughter’s favorite.  Juan Toja and Darío Sala are my “first” favorites, along with Kenny Cooper, because he is just an AWESOME guy.  But all the other players are my “second” favorites. 

I also love taking photos, so I tend to bring my camera with me just about everywhere.  And I especially love taking photos of the FCD guys.
