In our current economic environment (I’ve just finished reading ‘The Generation Game” by David McWilliams, what a doomsday merchant!) surviving as a full time athlete is getting harder and harder. I’ve learned from my time in Spain that trying to compete with the best Europe has to offer is a difficult proposition with limited financial support.

That is why I’m open to any and all interested parties who wish to help me on my quest to, not only Beijing but beyond, all the way to the London Olympics in 2012. I have a 5 year plan in place which aims at winning medals at both the European Indoor and Outdoor Championships as well as lofty goals for the World Championships and Olympic Games.
