WHAT’S HAPPENING
Work for both The London Eye and Madame Tussauds are featuring throughout London at the moment, and have been for the last few months. There are underground poster sites, bus sides, taxi sides and just about anything you can think of !
Spaceman posters and other material are up and about around the Manchester area at the moment, although probably not for very much longer as the site it’s promoting has pretty much sold out now, so job done!
One image from the Luka series will be a book cover soon. I’ve had to remove the shot from my site whilst going through pre-production, although of course there are still the others to see.
Recently I’ve instigated a print area to my site. This is due to constant print requests for certain shots. Obviously not all shots can be bought as prints or are designed to be. However should you see a red dot by a print this denotes it’s availability in print form, a click on this button will take you through to details about that print and the rest of the print site. Which is still partially under construction so is changing daily. To see the print site click the red dot.
Battersea Power Station, a shot I did for The London Eye was selected to be in The London City Photographic Exhibition.
30 Images were selected by judges (Tom Murray, Barry Lategan, Brian Griffin, John Stoddart, John Swannell, Tom Stoddart, Scarlett Carlos-Clarke and Desi Fontaine) to appear alongside their own work and other celebrated photographers in a charity exhibition. These images were selected from The AOP Awards, The SUN Awards and the BIPP Fine Art Awards. The prints were on sale with profits going to Towergate Insurance’s nominated charity the Royal Military Hospital, Chelsea.
Recently I featured in the AOP Open, with a shot of a skier from the
Salomon Ski team.
This was my second year entering this competition, and second successful entry, you can see the shot here. And last years shot here.
The AOP Open is a photographic competition accessible to all. The aim is to acknowledge excellence in photography, through its diversity of styles and subject matter. There are no set themes or categories - simply a search for outstanding imagery.
I was also in Signature.
A collection of Iconic images, at the AOP gallery, 81 Leonard Street London. Photographers were invited to submit what they considered their iconic image. It was of course an incredible honour to have one of my images exhibited next to one of my photographic heroes Barry Lategan. You can see the shot here.
Earlier in the year I featured in FINISHING TOUCH.
This exhibition showcased the latest trends in retouching and manipulation. Images were selected to demonstrate the technological advances and the immense changes in working practices, which have had an enormous impact on the face of the industry. You can see the shot here.
If you’d like to be kept informed of future exhibitions and updates to my site please email and register with me, and I’ll happily keep you informed.
