This is the original sketch of the bakery done by Jay Friesen.  The name “Log and Sod” denotes the idea of having a sod covered roof,  The idea was to have a cover for our 8’ circular wood fired oven.  We wanted something that made a lasting and gentle environmental impact to our neighborhood.  We wanted to create something our children will remember.
