God takes care of everyone in time of need, His love never quits. Thank God who did it all! His love never quits! Psalm 137:25-26
EVANGELISM AND GROUPS
As I read the above scripture, I’m reminded more than ever how I must draw on that love that he gives so generously. Many of you know of the awful accident that occurred this past month while FHU was here. We continue to grieve over the loss of Shane Ruiz, but as we look back over the whole week that he was here in the DR, I can’t help but smile and give praise to God for the love that the group showed to the Dominicans and us missionaries.

The group had several VBSs, visited the hospital and dump in Puerto Plata, They participated in a Cultural Safari in Rio San Juan, prior to gathering at the Outreach Center for Sunday night worship. This is a new activity added to the group’s schedule and more of the Outreach Center ministries can be found at: www.tjandholly.blogspot.com
Children’s homes

This quarter has shown a lot of progress in the kids advancing in their education by the tutoring they are receiving. We’ve been so blessed by groups, churches and individuals who have given education supplies for this use.

The kids had a whole week off school for Semana Santa and their time was filled with the FHU’s presence this spring. The group came in wanting to dedicate more time to the kids and that they did! The kids participated as best they could in the work projects, the group took them to the beach and out for ice cream, had a sports event at the camp, VBS and scavenger hunt, and being that time of year....an Easter egg hunt which included FHU’s traditional piñata party. They had a blast, although I’m sure the house parents had to deal with a lot of sugar highs with all the candy the kids gathered.

WELL DRILLING
We’ve got a rig!! That’s right, after many prayers and individuals who helped search the States, a rig was found. God provided the means to purchase it, get it to the Miami docks where it waits for the next ship to head to the Caribbean isles. We hope to have it within the month. We’re also praying that all works out to have a couple join the MannaDR team to be our driller by the end of the year. A survey trip is planned for May and depending if the rig has arrived by then, we hope to have a driller from the USA come and do some training.
