Author and Editor
Thank you for visiting my site. Here you’ll learn about the work I’ve done over the past two decades to increase awareness of and appreciation for the uniqueness that makes us human. Since 1994, I’ve edited the award-winning journal MultiCultural Review, which reviews books and non-print media and publishes articles on aspects of diversity in North America and throughout the world. I also edited Once Upon a Cuento, a collection of short stories for young readers by 14 established and emerging Latino authors. In 2000, I started work on what would become my first adult novel, the eco-thriller Dirt Cheap, published by Curbstone Press in 2006. My latest book, Gringolandia, a novel for teen and adult readers, was published by Curbstone in May 2009.
