Sméagol is a lovely little rat bred by Bongo Fury Rattery.  I asked Laura to breed me a lick-monster and she certainly didn’t disappoint.  Sméagol is master of the “drive-by lick”, every time he passes you when he’s out exploring he’ll turn his head and lick your hand without stopping.  His tongue seems to be cross-wired with his nose as everything he sniffs seems to get licked.

 

Sméagol loves human attention and is usually the first out of the cage when you open the door.  If you should dare to walk near the cage without stopping to fuss him then he’ll starfish until he gets your attention.

 

I was hoping to be able to show Sméagol in the Black class in varieties but his fur had other ideas.  When he’s a little older he’ll probably be shown in the Silvered class, at which point Sam should be too old to show so they won’t be competing against each other.

 

Sméagol shares a Critter 3 cage with his brother Déagol and Frodo and Sam.
