Déagol is a beautiful little boy from Bongo Fury Rattery.  Laura was breeding for British Blues and a couple of anomalies popped up in the litter.  Looking back in the pedigrees of the parents revealed the Mink gene, making these rats Lavender.  He’s a lovely shade of pale grey, like a poor British Blue.

 

Déagol is a very inquisitive boy who just loves to explore and is very fond of hand-wrestling.  Full of energy, he rarely sits still although when he does eventually tire himself out he likes to snuggle up on the fluffy rexy pillow that is Frodo.

 

Due to Lavender being unstandardised it is unlikely that Déagol will ever be able to be shown in varieties but he has such a good nature that I think he will do very well in the pet class.

 

Déagol shares a Critter 3 cage with his brother Sméagol and Frodo and Sam.
