Gratitude on my birthday

To day is my birthday and all I could really think about is how happy I am.  My spirit is so grateful.  You see, over 20 years ago when I was in the military, I was informed I was HIV positive and thought I would never see age 41.  Many friends have passed,  and died not really embracing their status of being HIV positive.  I use to think, my God, why me but now I’m like, why not me? At such a young age I was uninformed about sex and how to be responsible especially with high risk behaviors.  I understand my purpose now and today, I’m living it. I would love to read some of your purpose statements.  If you haven’t identified what it is, let’s see if we can help you speak it into existence.  So share!
