Sex in the Inner-City™ workshop series
Based on cognitive behavior models approved by the Centers for Disease Control, these modules encourage non-punitive discourse and “action steps” which redress sexual practices, history, experiences, and preferences for holistic living, whether a person is infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. A learning tool used to facilitate discussion, the documentary Standing-N-Truth: Breaking the Silence explores fear and shame of the black community surrounding sex, sexuality, and HIV/AIDS.
