Independence Ride Cycling Rally
Pensacola’s Cap’n Fun Runners is excited to present the Inaugural Independence Ride bicycle rally. On this inaugural ride, you will have the opportunity to ride along side and honor some of those veterans most severely injured since 9/11. You are invited to join us _________________________________. Be lined up at the start for an escort by an Apache Attack helicopter.
All proceeds will be donated to directly support those veterans severely injured in the GLobal War on Terror. The Independence Ride is part of the greater Pensacola Independence Weekend which culminates with a benefit concert saluting America’s military heroes by well known entertainer, Gary Sinise and the LT Dan Band.

WHY WE RIDE
Events such as the Independence Ride, that are designed to encourage and support participation by our wounded soldiers, can be as appreciated and beneficial to their lives as the equipment the Fund provides. This is why several local and flown-in special guests will be riding along side us with their modified equipment. Be sure and meet these amazing people. And again, ALL proceeds from the rally go directly towards helping make the lives of our severely injured soldiers just a little more like what they were used to.
SPECIAL SPONSORSHIPS--$200
Do Something Different - Port-A-Potty Sponsorship—You can proudly display your true colors on a much appreciated piece of equipment. We will cover them in butcher paper (unless your decorations without the paper will not be permanent or damage the potty) and you can let your inner artist free. On a first come-first served basis you can pick the rest stop where you would like your beauty to be resting. Get your family, riding buddies, friends, church, club or office to help decorate Friday, September 12, the night before the rally. Don’t forget your camera so you will have your Christmas card photo all taken care of.
Safe Passing Corner—Or you can sponsor an intersection with police support. We will put a sign on the corner telling everyone that you made their ride just a little more fun and a lot safer by helping to pay for the traffic control. It’s a great way to honor a rider that is going farther than ever before, or just remember one that could not ride with you today. These need to be in no later than August 29th so we can get your sign made.
Either one of these Sponsorships would make a wonderful present for that person that has everything!
