The Sagax REVO “Double Top” Greenland Expedition - 2007
In July 2007 a team of environmental scientists and adventurers, with children as their witnesses, is crisscrossing Greenland from the highest mountain to the northernmost point on Earth: the top of the Arctic. Our mission is to assess the impact of global warming on wildlife and vegetation in this Arctic region.
This expedition is made in partnership with Green Cross International, a non profit organization whose mission is to help ensure a just, sustainable and secure future for all. Individual and corporate sponsors have joined our efforts to help increase awareness of Global Warming during this 2007 International Polar Year.
The GREA, Group for Ecological Arctic Research,
is a French non-profit organization created in
1978 by scientists with a passion for the Arctic,
to study and help preserve polar regions.
