Detail of actual traditional Hutsul pysanky
This group of wooden eggs consists of simple wooden eggs painted with the intricate designs characteristic of Hutsul pysanky. Hutsul pysanka colors are usually preserved – white, yellow, green, red and black. There is always lots of the yellow cross-hatching that Hutsul eggs are famous for.
