CLASS DESCRIPTION
Through comic book illustration basic art, math, and language art skills are seamlessly learned. Class assignments guide students through the process of creating characters, planning and executing a finished story, sketching, and the final inking. Creative approaches are used in generating character sketches, story outlines, and sharing and teamwork are emphasized. Students walk away from class with a finished comic book containing the works of all class participants and their work is then placed on this website.
