SERGIO & LENNA!
Attached is the photo that describes me, Lenna, and the love of my life, Sergio Arango. Though we are from very different cultures (Lebanese and Guatemalan), we have built a relationship together that is not defined by any nation, language, or culture. We both met and realized right away that despite our differences in where and how we grew up, we fit together as if we knew each other for a lifetime. Our meeting wasn't forced. This city brought us together by chance three times before we decided to exchange numbers and "see each other." The first time, was through our mutual workplace. Filled with 600 people, we crossed paths there but never spoke - both of us being in other relationships. After leaving for another company, two years went by and we randomly sited each other at a restaurant and said the courtesy "hello" since we both recognized each other from work. Then two weeks after that, once again crossing Connecticut Ave - we about bumped into each other in the middle of the street. Not being able to ignore it, Sergio gave me his email address and invited me to his Christmas Party. We began dating shortly after...then not one month later, Sergio had to move to his home country of Guatemala for work for two years. Devastated, we decided to maintain our relationship and let time either make us stronger or...not - definitely going against the odds. After a year of expensive phone bills and airplane tickets once a month, a solid foundation had developed and we both couldn't go on being apart. At that time, amazingly, I found an opportunity to work in Guatemala for a while and moved out to be with him and live in his world for a bit - until when, I wasn't sure. That is where the photo comes from. We were sitting in a thatched hut restaurant in Panajachel by Lake Atitlan - just him and I; happy to be together, uncertain about the future, but both finally feeling like we found a place to belong. He is the love of my life - and on September 6, we will be getting married, here in DC, where we plan on making our home...until we find our next destination - we would love for you to be there to celebrate us beating the odds and finding a life together.
We would like to thank each of our participants for sharing such incredible stories and images of their true loves. This has been a wild ride during our first ever Love Life Images Free Wedding contest. We had well over 6000 votes during this past week voting on our contest. Some participants said they had made re-connections with old friends and far away family members. How wonderful is that.
We can’t wait to do it again next year. Stay tuned.

Green Wedding Photography
We are excited to announce that we now offer a green wedding photography package. What makes it green? Included in the package is carbon offset for one week of driving for your photographer and a fully archival organic album. The album is not yet released, so we will keep it under wraps until the company releases the book. We are moving toward a paperless booking option as well and hope to have it up and running in the next few months. Many vendors now offer green options for booking and last year Mary photographed a green table setting for Baltimore Bride Magazine.
Couture Books
We first saw these books on one of our photography forums and jumped on the website. We fell in love with them when we saw them in Vegas and are excited to now offer them. Check out the website. For clients who have chosen their book already, you are welcome to change to these books. They don’t offer duplicates, so if you get a duplicate parent album in your package, you will have to go with the Keepsake Book. Also, the design on these books is simple- one per page. But the bonus is that you can have up to 100 pictures in every book. (Right now our biggest book is 70 images) Email us if you have questions.
We have two more exciting announcements to make next week, so keep posted!
