OK, this is the first blog entry here on this site on my .mac site, but will it be my last? This whole blogging thing seems a bit dated for me because I was doing this before the term “blog” even existed. It was just a website that those that were a bit web savvy maintained. Now everyone and their aunt has a blog. I am not complaining, it is a good thing.

I thought doing this via iWeb would be easier for me as I just don’t have the time to invest in anything that will be too time consuming as far as designing a site for myself -- which is completely my own. If I am doing other sites, I just don’t have time for my own. This is the reason why my own personal website faded away by the late 90’s or early 00’s because I was too consumed doing other sites to worry about my own.

So after some consideration, I may just go with a CMS and use that for my own personal use. This way I can basically update it quickly and easily from where ever I happen to be using any computer with internet access. Especially since I will be touring the country soon and will be posting updates while on the road.

Stay tuned for details on the new personal site. Either that, or I will change my mind back to just doing it this way.
