Jewelry as art..

There was a time when I believed that the term “fine art” applied only to that which ended on canvas or finished sculpture.  I thought that jewelry could only take the form of simple gold or silver.

Thank goodness for the evolution of creative growth and discovery!

Welcome to Waterstone Jewelry.  Creating handmade jewelry is the “pot of gold” at the end of my creative rainbow.  I began as a graphic artist which evolved into the art of portraiture. 

Later, I was lucky enough to discover the limitless art of handmade jewelry. 

What I consider to be the fine art of jewelry encompasses sterling silver, gemstones, copper, waxed linen and the art of precious metal clay (resulting in fine silver.)  I am passionate about retaining an organic feel through my work and hope that it shows when you browse through my website.
