For as long as I can remember, I have been completely fascinated by the mystique of the knight in shining armor.  I have been fortunate enough to have had the chance to tour a number of museums in several different countries, viewing collections of arms and armor everywhere from the Royal Armouries in London to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Chicago.  Herein I plan to assemble some of the better photographs that I have taken.  While all are amazing examples of the skill of master craftsmen, many may only appeal to the more avid of armor fanatics.  Also, follow the progress of master armourer Éric Dubé as he completes my suit of armour based on the effigy of Richard Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick (1382-1439).  Simply click on the Armurerie du Duche link above.
