In case you haven’t already heard, my name is Lonnie Colson.  I grew up in the Texas Panhandle and will forever call that area “Home”.  In the years that have followed, I have lived in Laredo, Texas, on the Southwest border, and most recently in the Chicago, Illinois, Midwest region.  I suppose I have my parents to blame for putting the urge to travel in my blood.  Even before I was old enough to recall, my family was dragging a Coachman travel trailer all across the Southern states on vacation. Since then, I have traveled--whether with friends or alone, on business or pleasure--across over forty-two states and three continents. I have toured along the many canals of Amsterdam, crawled up into the attic of Anne Frank and gazed upon the incredible works of Rembrandt and Van Gogh; I have looked out over the millions of lights of Hong Kong’s massive skyline and zipped through the congested streets of Bangkok on a moto-taxi; I have walked on the sandy shores of Hastings, explored the magnificent castles of Wales and climbed the beautiful hills of Scotland; and, in Mexico, I have rappelled down waterfalls, crawled through caves and swam with sharks.  All the while I carried a camera in my pocket.  Here, in these galleries, are some of my favorites.
