(Continued From Above:) All of the players were either playing for their first or second time ever. There were no veteran attendees. Sandman would take the class out to different fields so they could experience the different aspects of the game, from the deep cover of the wide open forest to the miniature hyperball field. Each lesson would be discussed before taking the field and then reviewed after the scenario so that players could evaluate their own progress. As the day went on, it became clear that the lessons on flanking and covered movement were paying off. The more aggressive players took control of their teammates and utilized them as a unit to seize victory. The sides had to continually be readjusted to spread out the fast learners. By the end of the day, there were 10 new seasoned paintball players ready to return and test their skills against the veterans.
