MotoFemina Episodes on iTunes and YouTube

MotoFemina is a reality video series that features three women from Santa Fe, New Mexico USA who are encountering motorcycle riding for the first time. The three women are drawn from all walks of life, but one thing unites them: their passion to break out of the ordinary and become motorcyclists.
MotoFemina documents the women as they experience motorcycling as novice riders. They are required to take a safety training program from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) where the fundamentals of handling a bike are covered in a clear and understandable way that translates across the screen to other would-be motorcyclists. Once the training session is complete the women are ready for their summer-long motorcycle journey.
To get them started in style, they are outfitted with high performance BMW apparel that’s designed for women’s physiques and enhances their femininity. They are also assigned a brand new BMW F 650 GS motorcycle which they will ride as the MotoFemina crew follows them on their journey throughout the summer.
The journey starts off with female mentors who instruct the women on pavement and dirt road motorcycle handling techniques. The women learn how to ride their BMW on the rough back roads, wind swept Interstate highways and narrow crowded streets in and around Santa Fe. They ride through pine covered National Forests and across the rugged high desert to Indian Pueblos on the scenic twisting roads of Northern New Mexico. As they learn increasingly valuable lessons from their mentors and battle through emotional highs and lows, they gain the confidence near summer’s end to venture off on solo motorcycle journeys.
MotoFemina follows each woman on her solo journey as she uses her motorcycle to achieve the dream she’s been searching for: the independent riding spirt that only motorcycling brings. One woman returns to the scene of a near miss with a Winnebago, the second rides into the forest and camps alone in the wilderness and the third straps a guitar on her back and rides to the top of a mountain. MotoFemina is right there with them—as they master the art of motorcycling and make their journeys of self-discovery and renewal.
MotoFemina the video series honors the mystique of motorcycling and the spirit of the open road. It also honors uncommon women as they quest after adventures that only motorcycling can bring. At the end of the journey, one woman is awarded a new BMW F 650 GS motorcycle and takes the lead of a new band of motorcyclists known as—MotoFemina.http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=214340743http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=motofeminahttp://www.msf-usa.org/http://www.bmw-riders-gear.com/Index.asphttp://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/bikes/bike.jsp?b=f650gsshapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2shapeimage_3_link_3shapeimage_3_link_4
