Victor and Vivian Neumann, Deans, N.J. c. 1949

This website is dedicated to my family, especially to those who left their homes and families in Europe and braved a perilous journey to face an uncertain future in distant lands. It is also a memorial to all of those who remained, many of whose names still remain unknown. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the construction of this website by taking the time to tell stories, send pictures and letters, and even provide financial support. What you will find on this website is only part of the story of my Kahn, Berkovics, Moskovits, and Neumann families. It is my hope that this website will help me to further unravel my roots with the help of my close and extended family. I welcome your comments, suggestions, and, especially, your memories.

                                                                       Vivian (Neumann) Kahn
