HOT!
I am writing from western Nebraska where I have been spending most of the summer.This week’s harvest has been done by a group of volunteers. My mom, Phil has been helping out for weeks, Jazmyn has been out in the early hours weeding, Thanks to them we’ve been able to get the harvest to you weekly! UFO’s seen on Fat Flamingo Farm
The plants like this hot weather and the garden has exploded in growth. No beans yet, lots of flowers. Everyone should find a weird round green thing, that is a kohlrabi for the uninitiated. Kohlrabi is one of the best vegetables in the garden because it is so versatile. It can be grated fresh into a salad. Sliced and eaten raw. Cooked and mashed with or without potatoes.
