Where has the time gone!! The Mounds View High School Class of 1959 held its 50th Reunion on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, 2009.  The Friday night festivities were held at the New Brighton Eagles Club, 563 Old Highway 8, New Brighton.  The evening included a dinner buffet, cash bar, short program, and lots of time for visiting with classmates.  Registration began at 5:00 PM with dinner at 7:00 PM.  A photo of the alums was taken in front of Jerry Laumeyer’s vintage bus. A few antique or classic cars were displayed.  Door prizes were distributed by President Mike Bauerschmidt.

We were pleased to have vocal music teacher Bernice Branes Ness and history teacher Tom Wegleitner and their spouses in attendance.

A buffet brunch was served Saturday morning from 10:00 - 11:30 AM at the same location.  Plenty of photos were taken at both events.  (Please see pages 3 and 4 for those photos.)  If you have photos to share from the events to be put on the web site, please use the below email.

A booklet containing names, addresses and personal information submitted by each classmate was distributed to all who attended.  Even if you couldn’t attend, the booklet is available for $7 to cover printing and mailing.  Please use the email address below to order.
