Saturday, June 20: Gambrill Intermediate Ride

Pace: Moderate

Details: Ride will instead be at Gambrill, ready to go at 10 am.  directions down below.  Because the terrain is rocky and more technical it is for solid, intermediate riders but a casual, no drop pace with some stops to work on skills.   Plan will be to do the yellow loop possibly both directions with the option for people to stop after 1 loop.   

 

Directions - Take 70 toward frederick, get off at exit 53B - US 40W/15N.  Take the US 40W/ W. patrick st. exit to go onto 40 west.  Go past the commercial area and make a right onto Gamrill state park road (just after commercial area and after a split in the road).   You will pass a church and enter the park going up a long hill.  There will be an obvious parking lot 2/3 of the way up the hill on the right side, we will meet here.   There are not easy places to get water so bring plenty.
