The Monster, October 2010.
A 10-15 min. multimedia piece in collaboration with composer Duncan Neilson, based on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, to be premiered by the Portland Chamber Orchestra in October 2010. Includes hand-drawn animation and recorded environmental sounds with orchestra. To be commenced during a month-long residency at Caldera Artists Colony in January 2010.

Tellaga and Conred, October 2009.
Commissioned to create ten illustrations for an allegorical novella by Seattle author Joyce Anderson.

Cantus Arcticus, September 2008.
Commissioned by the Portland Chamber Orchestra to create imagery in the form of animated drawings of life in an Arctic bog ecosystem, projected on movie screen, for a performance of Finnish composer Einojuhani Rautavaara’s three-movement piece for orchestra and recorded bird voices, entitled Cantus Arcticus, duration 18 minutes. 
•	Premiered at Kaul Auditorium, Reed College, Portland, OR, on September 20, 2008. 
•	Walla Walla Symphony, Walla Walla Washington, April 20, 2010.
•	International multimedia premiere with the Israel Kibbutz Orchestra, five performances on tour in Tel Aviv and surroundings, including the Israel Museum, March 2010. 

Creatures of Prometheus, May 2008.
Commissioned by the Portland Chamber Orchestra to create imagery in the form of eight narrative panels to accompany the orchestra (via large screen projection) in a multimedia performance of Beethoven’s complete ballet “Creatures of Prometheus,” narrated/retold by storyteller David Robinson, duration approx. 90 minutes. Premiered at Kaul Auditorium, Reed College, on May 24, 2008. Concurrent exhibition at Broderick Gallery, Portland, OR, May 1-27, 2008.

Feirefiz, April 2008
Created original story and images for an evening-length concert piece, in collaboration with composer Duncan Neilson, commissioned by the Middle Eastern Music Ensemble of the College of William and Mary. Imagery takes the form of mixed media works on paper, projected above the ensemble. The story is a retelling of Wolfram von Eschenbach’s Parzival.

•	Phi Beta Kappa Hall, The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, VA, Dec 2008.

Heart of the Wild, January 2006-present.
Art director for multimedia performance of “Heart of the Wild”, a symphonic music, story, and image piece composed and conceived by Duncan Neilson, narrated by David Robinson, with images by Duncan and Liz Neilson. Performances by the Portland Chamber Orchestra, Daedalus String Quartet, the Moebius Ensemble, and the Walla Walla Symphony.

Portland Chamber Orchestra, Portland, OR, 2007 to present. 
Artist in Residence for a professional orchestra whose mission is to create new multimedia presentations of works in the classical music tradition, both canonical and contemporary. See above Commissions and Collaborations for project details.

LeRoy Neiman Studio, New York, NY, 2002-2007. 
Curator/Archivist and in-house Designer of art books including LeRoy Neiman Sketchbook: Liston vs. Clay 1964/Ali vs. Liston 1965, powerHouse Books 2005, and Femlin: 50th Anniversary Collection, Dark Horse Books/M Press, 2007. Designed and installed book release exhibition at powerHouse Gallery, Nov 2004, and a two-floor exhibition of Mr. Neiman’s drawings for the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY, which opened Nov 2005. Prepared Mr. Neiman’s archives, which, along with a comprehensive finding aid, are now housed in the Archives of American Art of the Smithsonian Institution, and catalogued over 10,000 works on paper.

Columbia University’s Neiman Center for Print Studies, 2001-2002. 
Assistant to the Master Printer at professional fine art printmaking studio, working on etching, lithography, silkscreen, and photogravure projects for established artists such as Kiki Smith, Sarah Tze, Tim Gardner, Eric Fischl and Terry Winters.
