Learn more about the ingredients we use...
Almonds, sprouted: We use pesticide-free California grown almonds. Although not certified organic, the farmers have been growing almonds pesticide-free on the same land for over 20 years. This farm uses a predatory system to increase an efficient and effective production. Almonds are amongst the healthiest of nuts, providing multiple benefits for the human body. We sprout our almonds by soaking them in water for 12+ hours, and then allowing them to germinate and sprout. For more info on almond nutrition click here.
Amazon Peanuts, sprouted: These beautiful, tiger-striped certified organic peanuts are the only aflatoxin- free peanuts on the market. Harvested in the Amazon by the hands of local native villagers, these wild peanuts truly carry a special energy. With an amazing 26% protein, all 8 essential amino acids and over 40% of the beautifying oleic acid, our Amazonian peanuts are truly the world’s healthiest. We sprout our raw peanuts by soaking them in water for 12+ hours, and then allowing them to germinate and sprout.
Blue Agave Nectar: Our premium raw agave nectar is made from organic blue agave cactus grown in Mexico. We use a unprocessed, pure agave form which is completely translucent, with a taste closer to honey than any other agave available. This form of agave is extremely low on the glycemic index. A serving size of 2 tablespoons will minimally raise the blood sugar levels of a diabetic! Dense in nutrients, minerals and healthy flora for digestion, this agave is without question our sweetener of choice.
Brazil Nuts, soaked: Our raw Brazil nuts are harvested in the lush rainforests of the Amazon at the intersection of Peru, Brazil and Bolivia, one of the most fruitful Brazil nut production lands in the world. Not only are Brazil nuts healthy for our bodies, being high in protein and selenium, but they are supporting local communities whose livelihoods are dependent on a thriving and healthy rainforest. Consumption of Brazil nuts reinforces an economical system to help keep the rainforest standing bright and beautifully. Our Brazil nuts are soaked for 12+ hours. Brazil nuts do not sprout unless they remain in the shell and are allowed to sprout through nature’s processes. Our Brazil nuts are certified organic.
Cacao powder, raw: We are very pleased to offer the very best of the raw cacao powders. Our cacao, harvested in Ecuador, has a rich dark and nutty flavor. This powder is one of the highest forms of antioxidants available. People have used cacao for centuries as a way to enhance mood, increase energy, expand consciousness and open the heart chakra. Raw cacao powder is made from the dry pulp of the cacao beans after pressing out their oils. The pulp is then processed and dried into a powder form. We really believe in the amazing benefits this product has to offer.
Cocoa powder, toasted: This organic and fair trade chocolate powder, sourced from the Dominican Republic, is made from roasted cacao beans. The roasting technique is traditionally used to bring out a deeper flavor from the cacao. We use this powder for those who want to indulge in the a more rich chocolately flavor.
Fresh Produce: Whether it is our green onions, cilantro, jalapenos or limes, we want you to know we are giving you the best possible. Most of our produce comes from local California farms and sometimes from Mexico. All is organic, healthy thriving plant life material. We feel the fresher the better, which has led us to incorporating more fresh ingredients into our recipes. Enjoy!
Hemp Protein Powder: This natural powder is produced by milling & sifting organic hemp seed cake, a byproduct of crushing hemp seeds for oil. Our hemp protein powder is of premium quality, with a dark green color and no added hemp fiber, lending to a high nutritional content. This hemp powder is protein enriched (48.5%), gluten free and highly digestible with a unique nutty flavor.
Himalayan Crystal Salt: This is a very special product. Hand-mined in the Himalayan mountains of Pakistan, these salt crystals are without doubt energetically charged. This salt was created from ocean deposits over 250 million years ago in the Jurassic era. Himalayan salt contains a beneficial amount of 84 trace minerals and iron. The salt crystals range in color from white to pink to a deep red. Himalayan salts have demonstrated incredible bio- energetic qualities and numerous positive effects on bodily functions. Many people have been led to believe that salt is unhealthy, however this is because many conventional white table salts have been cooked and chemically bleached, removing them far from their natural state. Himalayan crystal salts are much different. You will taste and feel the difference.
Lime Oil: Our lime oil is pretty much as it sounds. The oil of lime. However, this lime oil is not reminiscent of an extract or a flavoring. This oil is the natural essence cold pressed from the rind of the fruits. The flavor is clean and true.
Maca: Maca is a root vegetable that grows in very high altitudes in the Andean mountains of Peru. Maca root is a relative of the radish family and has numerous health benefits for the body including increasing energy, stimulating libido, supporting the immune system, regulating the endocrine system and normalizing menstrual cycles. Our maca powder is made from processing and drying the whole maca root. It tends to have a sweet and spicy flavor depending on the time of harvest.
Mesquite Flour: Also called mesquite pod meal or powder, our mesquite flour comes from the wild growing mesquite trees in Peru. The trees produce long flat seed pods which are milled into a fine powder. Traditionally, the pods have been used as a food staple by desert dwellers for flours and porridges, or processed into sweeteners, sweet beverages or fermented alcoholic beverages. Our mesquite flour has a malty, nutty flavor with a mild sweetness. Mesquite is high in protein, dietary fiber and dense in minerals.
Mulberries, wild, sun-dried: Our mulberries are grown and harvested in the northern areas of Pakistan, in the Hunza Valley. This narrow strip of fertile soil which lies in between an intersection of four great mountain ranges, is the home to the Hunza people, a community who is renown for their health and friendliness. Our mulberries are harvested and sun dried. Mulberries have a very unique and exotic flavor which one must experience for themselves. Being a berry, they are low on the glycemic index and are a wonderful replacement for other dried fruits.
Nama Shoyu: We are no longer using this product. We have switched over to using wheat-free tamari.
Olive Oil: We use organic olive oil from locally grown Napa Valley olives. This olive oil is cold pressed at temperatures below 96 degrees, is unfiltered and unrefined. There is a rich, buttery flavor that shines through. You know a good olive oil when you see small particles of olive residue, floating amongst the oil.
Pistachios, soaked: Our organically grown pistachios are harvested and processed in California. We only use pistachios of the highest grade. What does this mean? We look for raw pistachio kernels that are deep green in color on the outer skin and have a yellow hue in the center. This is a healthy pistachio. Our pistachios are only dried through air tunnels, not high temp drying machines. Our pistachios are soaked for 12+ hours. Pistachios do not sprout unless they remain in the shell and are allowed to sprout through nature’s processes.
Rapadura: Rapadura is fair trade and certified organic unrefined evaporated cane sugar. Although not enzymatically live, this form of sweetener does contain many more nutrients and minerals than most other sugar alternatives due to its unique processing where the sugar is not separated from the molasses stream. Unlike conventional sugars, Rapadura contains a unique rich flavor and deep golden hue.

Rosemary: The rosemary we use is harvested from a very special place... the land of our own family home. Joshua, co-founder of Living Intentions, hand picks fresh rosemary weekly ensuring every leaf used is not only of the highest quality, but remains energetically happy and healthy. We believe that using foods which we can grow ourselves is the best way to go. We hope that the future brings more of this philosophy into everyone’s life.
Spices: All spices we use are either organic or wild-crafted as well as non-irradiated. We take pride in researching all of our spices to find the best quality products with the most flavor. You will taste the difference!
Tamari: We now use tamari on all of our products which previous used nama shoyu. Tamari is a wheat free product with a more bold and rich flavor. Persons with wheat or gluten allergies can now enjoy!
Vanilla: The vanilla extract used is derived from Ugandan vanilla beans and certified organic alcohol. These beans are some of the larger, plumpest and juiciest beans we have ever seen. After testing various extracts we found our organic Ugandan extract to have a distinctly rich and superb flavor.
Walnuts, soaked: Our certified organic raw walnuts are grown locally in Northern California. We have found wonderfully light tasting walnuts without the subtle bitter flavors that some walnuts carry. Our walnuts are soaked for 12+ hours. Walnuts do not sprout unless they remain in the shell and are allowed to sprout through nature’s processes.
