We are a community based non-profit-making centre offering care and education for children aged 10 months to 5 years. Situated on a beautiful 2 acre property, surrounded by native bush and farmland we are just 8 minutes by car from the city centre.

A special part of our centre is the farmyard. Children have the opportunity everyday to interact with a large variety of farm animals including our miniature horse Tama, flock of pet sheep, our gorgeous lop eared bunnies Vinnie and Lola, kune kune pigs and of course our hens, who provide great interest with daily egg collecting excursions.

Little Lights offers educational programmes based firmly on Christian principles and beliefs. We are governed by a professional code of ethics and operate within the framework of the Te Whaariki - New Zealand’s curriculum for Early Childhood Education.
