WRITING THE STORY OF MY LIFE

As I looked back through old photos,
My mind just wandered there…
To places where I’d spent my life,
Some happy…some in heartfelt care.
Some things, brought a smile,
Others…a tear or two
But I learned as I wrote about them,
I’m no different than most of you.
We all have experienced troubles,
Had people who spurred us on…
It helps us to put it on paper,
Take the lessons we’ve learned and go on.
You will find, there are others out there
That, with a positive word from you…
Can capture their dreams, forgive their past
And leave a wonderful legacy too.
