Lisa Gilbar is a highly qualified acting coach. She holds a degree in theatre from Smith College and has obtained professional training from The Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Shop, UCLA, AFI, Williams College, Groundlings, Theatre Sports, Comedy Sportz, and various commercial workshops. Her hands-on training on numerous Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Regional productions as well as many Film (Hollywood & Independent) & Television (sitcom, drama, & soap) sets allows her the experience to fully understand the inner-workings of these worlds. Her students always leave the session feeling extremely confident and ready to conquer the audition, her on-set actors feel completely prepared to perform the scene, and directors breathe more easily knowing they can entrust their vision to Lisa.
