The Hyperwords Company releases the first public version of the Hyperwords™.  Hyperwords makes every word on the web interactive, for one-click searching, references, look-ups, translations, emailing and more.

 

Before Hyperwords™ you could only navigate the web by clicking on hand-made links and by making keyword searches. CEO Frode Hegland: "You had to go to different sites or toolbars to get access to services such as searches or reference look-ups. Simple things like emailing text from a web-page involved many clicks.  Now, with Hyperwords™, just select the text you want to know more about and the menu comes up, giving you immediately access web search, references, translation, email, and more, in a single click."

 

Hyperwords™ is very easy to use. Select any text and choose commands from the menu that automatically pops-up. It's that simple. 

 

The utilities in Hyperwords include Search (Google, news, LinkedIn, MySpace and more), References (Wikipedia, dictionary, financial information), Map, Shop (including Amazon, eBay), Copy, Email, Tag (with del.ico.us and Furl), Blog (with Blogger, WordPress and search with Technorati) and Translate.

 

The Hyperwords Company team is CEO Frode Hegland (formerly of The Liquid Information Company), cofounder Patricia Fessler and head coder Mikhail Seliverstov.
