Welcome to LineRanch.com, the official site for our Line Family, history and lineage, arts and trades, and cherished connections. We'll trace our story from earliest origins as a Scottish family of prominence with historical links to Fahrquahrson, Boyd and Stewart Clans of Scotland, voyage to the New World to Connecticut and settlements there and in the East Jersey colony, to frontier service in the French and Indian Wars and our role in The American Revolution, and to frontier leadership in Pennsylvania and the Ohio Country. We'll also show our Line family tradition of service to the nation in the War of 1812, the Civil War, WWI and WWII, Korea, and the Cold War. We'll trace our role in the early political life of East Jersey, Western Pennsylvania, the Ohio Country and the Nebraska plains, in the recent Civil Rights Movements and the New Frontier of the 1960s, and in the politics of today.

Our Line heritage is rich with warriors, frontiersmen and townsmen, landowners, vestrymen and politicians, skilled artisans and merchants, bankers and artists, semipro baseball players and track stars, Western ranchmen and farmers, teachers and scholars, soldiers and counterspies. Our Line women are equally remarkable and encompass varied backgrounds of their own as daughters of wealthy landowners and landowners in their own right, teachers and nurses, artists and aristocrats, athletes and scholars, homemakers, pioneers, journalists, professors and musicians.

We are just getting started here, so look around and please come back often...
