Health, Social & Justice Program
High-risk youth need the support to connect with family and community resources. Young people who are constantly struggling for survival are put at risk of being victimized. The more time on the street increases the risk of alienation and difficulty in accessing community resources.
They often have no marketable job skills and so get involved in street related activities such as drug and alcohol abuse, street crime, and sexual exploitation. Many high-risk youth are without permanent homes.
The Health, Social and Justice Program is to act as a resource for high-risk youth through the assistance provided by the youth workers. Youth and young adults who have to serve community hours participate in all programs
