Discover your Potential

This year sees the launch of an exciting new amateur motorsport series for members and owners of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. Open to all members of Club Audi NSW and invited CAMS registered clubs, this seven round series is the brainchild of Club Audi NSW Club Secretary Marc Hammond.

Thanks to his vision and determination this series will add to the ever increasing events of Club Audi NSW's enthusiast calendar for 2008.

The series will be point scored using a very sophisticated computer model that will attempt to equalise the differences in models, drive types, transmissions, power, weight of vehicles entered and lap times achieved by their owners.

With advanced driver training included, the emphasis is on driver skill and consistency, not outright 4.2L FSI power. With drivers separated into classes based on the power to weight ratio of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles, everyone is on an even playing field with equal chance of victory at the end of the day.

Prizes will be awarded to class winners at each round, with a major presentation for the series winners at the end of the season. So no matter if you wish to participate for just the day, to learn new driving skills and socialise with fellow members, or compete in the entire series - there are more than enough prizes to be had for all.

Club Audi NSW supports safe driving practices. As part of our 'speed off the street' safety initiative in cooperation with Circuit Club, we encourage members who wish to extend their driving skills to do so legally, away from the general public on the safe, controlled confines of a race track.

Audi motor vehicles are all designed to cruise effortlessly on the unrestricted autobahns in Germany, and owners may wish to experience those higher speeds without having to take their Audi's to Germany.

Make new friends, socialise with fellow like minded enthusiasts, learn new advanced driving skills and experience the abilities of your Audi like never before. Join fellow members in the spirit of friendly competition, and who knows…you might need to buy a new trophy cabinet before the end of the year.
