Aline Community Woodland

The Erisort Trust aims to develop the woodland and provide a unique facility within the Western Isles. An innovative mix of media rich, educational, recreational facilities and training in all aspects of forestry. Something for everyone to enjoy all year round.


The woodland is rich in wildlife. Webcams will allow close views. Underwater cameras will allow viewing of salmon and trout in the woodlands rivers. Traditional paths and bridle-ways. Planned accommodation: 3-Bed Family Units. Secluded five star lodges.
