I am a painter living and working on Bainbridge Island, Wa.  The works on these pages are primarily plein aire and/or alla prima and, although there are several paintings from other years, represent the 2005 to 2006 period.  This method of painting means each is done relatively quickly to capture the intuitive emotional reaction I have to the subject.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.  These paintings are those I feel ‘worked’.
