2008 is the year of Back to the Future.  We're using this music to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the BVMF.  In keeping with the movie theme, all the music that will be prepared will be music from the movies.  Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Arc, Forest Gump, Across the Universe, etc., and if you have a favorite choice just email Mr. Bill at pathwork@mac.com and he'll see if it's possible to arrange your favorite music for the camp.

Each camper receives a binder full of personalized music.  That means each camper receives music that is written to their current skill level.  In addition more challenging music will be included to provide for musical growth during their stay at camp.

The 08 Camper Music Binders will include:

1.  Scales, Arpeggios, and Exercises in various keys to be played daily during personal practice time.

2.  Music for Ensemble Play:

Parts to allow the camper to join in the various ensembles that take place during the week:  String, Brass, Woodwind, Keyboard and Percussion Ensembles.

3.  Choral Music:

Each year the camp choir performs their choral selection at the main Music Festival Tent.  Plenty of practice time and some up tempo contemporary arrangements make this a favorite activity of the whole camp.

4.  Music for All Camp Play:

         In keeping with our theme this year we will have an arrangement of the Title Theme from "Back to the Future" as our All Camp Play.

5.  Appetizer and Dessert Jam: Specially prepared music that allows each camper to participate in the various pre-dinner and after-dinner Jam Sessions that take place at camp.
