While this website has been operational only since October 1, 2007, I have been writing reviews and commentaries on film since the late 1980s.  Over the next several months I shall be transferring my current and recent reviews of High Definition DVD reviews of both the movie and the DVD, as well as some of my favorite old film reviews.

You’ll see 4 principal sections for my reviews:

Movies on Blu-ray DVD cover releases since June, 2006.  The reviews will include both a commentary and critique of the film and a perceptual score card of the image and sound.  I expect to add about 3-4 per week. 

Korean TV Drama Reviews will look at box sets of complete TV series with English subtitles, going back to the mid-1990s.  I plan to review about one per month.  A listing of finished  and projected reviews can be found at that home page.  If you are unfamiliar with this form of dramatic entertainment, I recommend you first check out my overview at Introduction to K-Dramas.

My old Movie Reviews, presented in essay format, can be found Here.  I will bring these over as I can get to them.

Music Reviews, mostly of vinyl phonograph records, concentrating on mono recordings from the 1950s and 1960s.
