The “stones”, and the symbols upon them, reference the prehistory of many cultures. Each of the stone projects appears quickly, as an abberation of the natural order, then vanishes, just as it becomes familiar. These projects mark or map existing locations of significance, or designate new ones. Sometimes they hover above their sites. Materials: faux stones, real chain and rope, steel. Sizes vary greatly, with the sites.
