Getting some responses from others seemed to be a good idea, but only having a mobile phone and using email to exchange audio files sacrifices quality ( of sound, not necessarily of content) for convenience. Perhaps these techniques (a kind of ‘youtube’ model of content creation) may become a fact of life, but the questions persist... at what point does the poor audio quality render a piece unusable - surely if the content is dynamic, then it is worth retaining?.....
