Steven Cousins
is an 8-time British National Champion, Olympic, and professional skater living and training in Canada. This past April, he and Felicia took part in US Figure Skating’s 2011 National Program Components Camp in Strongsville, Ohio. His coaching style is personal and positive with great energy for skaters of all levels.
Felicia Beck
is a US National Junior Bronze Medalist, choreographer, coach, technical specialist, and US Figure Skating Athlete Advisory Committee member. Born in Texas, she now lives and trains in southern California. Her students benefit from her technical and artistic expertise, warm enthusiasm, and deep passion for the sport of figure skating.

1 - Ask at least five family members, friends, or neighbors for a donation of five good-quality, good-condition items for the sale (for a total minimum of 25 items. No clothing, please. Use the club receipts — which include the club’s tax ID number — to document the donation for the donor’s tax records. Do sign the receipt with your name next to “for the YVFSC”.
2 - Remember to say THANK YOU! for their support of our club’s fundraiser.
3 - By Wednesday evening, August 10th, contact either of the fundraiser’s co-chairs, Laura Blatz and Cathy Goettel, and let them know when you can work a 4-hour shift during the sale hours Friday or Saturday (8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. both days). We’ll need as many people as possible to help clean up after the sale Saturday afternoon, as well.
4 - Clean up your donated items and put a price tag on all of them. Bring your buffed-up, priced goods to the First Church of Christ, 7 Burlington Avenue, at 7:00 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, August 11th. Your help is also needed to organize the items for an easy start to the sale on Friday.

GARAGE SALE - 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday & Saturday, August 11 & 12
The Garage Sale is a mandatory fundraiser. The proceeds help defray the cost of ice time for our skaters. To make the event as successful as possible, full participation from our membership is vital.
Full participation in this fundraiser consists of:
Donation of 25 items per membership (family or individual).
Setup help on the evening of Thursday, August 11th (all members).
At least one shift (4 hours) worked (all members) during the sale itself.
The opt-out fee for this fundraiser is $100 per membership (family or individual) for those who do not meet the above criteria.
