LeAnne Kline graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing (fiction).  The English Department awarded her a teaching assistantship and full-tuition waiver for the program. She has been published in Poetic Diversity, The Taj Majal Review, Blood Moon Rising, The Centrifugal Eye, Microhorror, Poetry Vibe, Writers Forum, Twilight Musings and won an Honorable Mention in the Shadow Poetry Little Bitty Poetry Competition.

Most recently she had the honor of reading her story The Littlest Soldier at the Writing By Degrees conference in New York. She presented two academic papers at The Uncanny Media Conference in Utrecht, Netherlands, in August 2008 on “The Gothic Child in The Reflecting Skin” and “Hitchcock, Suspicion, and Gothic Framing.” And she presented two papers at the Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities in January 2009.
