  1. •Each group sets the pace as far as their work schedule. Some groups choose to take a portion of one day for rest or sightseeing. We’re flexible!

Meals -

    Three meals each day, Monday through Friday, are included in the cost. Meals are provided by an in-house chef.

Things to bring -

  4. •Work clothes. Work shoes are ideal, but sneakers can suffice.

  5. •Casual / lounging clothes for evenings

  6. •Bug spray & sunblock!!!!

  7. •We have an adequate tool supply, but DIY’ers & professionals may be more comfortable with their own power tools

  8. •You’ll save time scouring the jobsite for common tools if you bring your own tape measure, hammer, pencil & safety glasses. No need to purchase these if you don’t own them.

Misc -


  1. •Groups can arrange to get a burn permit and have a campfire on the beach one evening. The group is responsible for appropriate clean-up of the fire.

  2. •There are several restaurant options in town that are all about $8-12 for a meal.

  3. •We always recommend Kimball’s Restaurant’s Wednesday night Shrimp Boil to volunteer groups. $7 gets you a Gulf Coast meal of boiled shrimp, potatoes and corn.

  4. •The closest grocery stores are in either of the adjacent towns (about 15 min.). The local Dollar General and Keith’s Superstore have milk, water & other last-minute food supplies.
