Where do I even begin? There are a billion things I could think of why I enjoy attending FairHavens Baptist Church. It is such a blessing to see other people younger than me, older than me and the same age as me, serving Christ. This church really has a big heart. Everybody works together like a family!

It may not be large and fancy like other churches. It most likely doesn't have as much money as the bigger churches in Canada do but that doesn't matter at all to me! We are happy people.

Our church family is warm and friendly, and we are always excited to see new faces in our services.  Our goal is for every believer to grow spiritually.

When one of my family members are sick, I usually still go to church either by myself, or with whoever is not sick. And when I do go, I have the whole church saying, "please tell your mother we're praying for her, and please tell her ...we said Hi!"  Of course the whole church isn't a whole lot of people, but every one of them mean it, and it is so great to hear they care! 

Everyone wants to be appreciated and cared for, and at this church that's exactly what you get. Everybody has the opportunity to help out and be a part of things! Our church is so very different from other churches that I have been to. And I love our church! 

I have two best friends that I can't wait to see when I go to church. I have a pastor who enjoys serving the Lord, no matter the cost, who will do whatever he has to do to help out God's people at FHBC.

The older folks in our church are so caring, they are always baking or making things for the young people and for the whole church. The different families are like one big family! Everybody works together to make this church what it is. I thank God every day, for the friendly little church on the corner of George & Russell!
