This month, SAGers in 5th/6th reading are looking to a classic- Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. At the forefront of our discussions, will be the fact that it is a timeless tale, retold in a variety of venues and mediums-some that students may not even recognize as such. All SAGers will be working on a project to “Pay It Forward” this season as well. Each student will make a concious choice to do something charitable for a friend, family member or even an aquaintance, that is unsolicited. Their stories will eventually be posted online at http://bellair.blogspot.com/ .
