Girls Lacrosse at LBJ High School

We are a tax-exempt sports club supported by club dues and donations and officially represent LBJ High School and the Liberal Arts and Science Academy.   The 2008 season marks the 6th year for the girls lacrosse team and our 1st year to play in Division I of the Central Division of the Texas High School Lacrosse League.  RICH WEIGAND (rweigand@austin.rr.com) is the varsity team coach and the junior varsity coach is VALERIE WEIGAND (vmweigand@hotmail.com).

 

Lacrosse is a Spring season sport, but limited team workouts are held in the Fall.  New players (freshman through seniors) are always welcome, regardless of previous lacrosse experience or skill level.  Playing on the team is a wonderful way to build friendships while playing a fast-paced, non-contact sport that emphasizes fitness, finesse, and teamwork.
