I LOVE APPLE products, every computer i run my business from is a MAC in fact i have one of each of the computers they make, even the Mac Mini which is probably my favorites, i love their software, their ipods and i cant wait for the IPHONE to come out next month. In January when Me and Sara went to MACWORLD i was handed a flyer from a GreenPeace representative urging APPLE users to help APPLE go GREEN and of course the wannabe activist in me logged on and wrote a letter to Steve Jobs asking him kindly to lighten Apples eco-footprint on our planet and become an environmental leader . Thankfully thousands of people wrote Steve a letter and he listened!
Recently, Apple put a banner with the words "A Greener Apple" on the front page of its website, linking to a personal letter from Steve Jobs. In it he says in effect that Apple's consumers, employees, shareholders and the industry "want us to be a leader in [becoming greener], just as we are in the other areas of our business. So today we're changing our policy." That's right, people: you've done it -- you've moved Apple.
Apple has issued a plan to remove the toxic chemicals from their new products, and to more aggressively recycle their old products.
YIPPIE!!! Thank You APPLE! I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE!
